We finally are beginning to plan our professional projects for the semester. I am SUPER stoked, because I feel like this is my chance to actually make artwork that I am proud of. I can also explore leadership positions within my group, and I know for a fact that I will have a multitude of new skills once I finish just the first project.
My group is going to be Haley, Elizabeth, and I. We have our projects narrowed down to the last two, so progress! We are going to be doing a poster project for the Gay-Straight Alliance at BVN. As a member of the LGBT+ community, I think I will be very motivated to try my hardest on the success of these, especially when they have to represent large ideals such as tolerance, equality, and community.
I will attach sketches for some ideas in a bit! I am so excited, and I really can't wait to get the word out about this awesome club. So far, I can see how important professional projects are. The event where you have a client makes you want to put even more effort into the work you do. Knowing that our work will reach out and represent such a wonderful group is complete incentive enough to try 110%.
