I've been telling myself to think about my projects for a bit now, but now I actually can't ignore it. SO, as my practice projects, I'm not super sure how I'm going to execute the actual project yet. I am pretty sure I know my topics, though.
Puerto Rico is important to me; doing a project centered around the islands political or economic situation would be the best way to go. This project might be slightly sad- I can't hide how messed up it is. Hurricanes keep hitting us constantly and our infrastructure/government can't recover fast enough to make any progress on the improvement of citizens' lives. In regards to Puerto Rico, I might do a book cover, redoing some of my favorite Boricua (Puerto Rican) authors' novel covers using some traditional designs inspired by Taino culture. I obviously have to make it work with the movements and such, but that just requires a sketching session.

I know for a fact most of my pieces this semester will be about the issues which I believe need to be talked about more often. So far I have the issues of POC rights AND LGBTQ+ awareness, both of which I'm passionate about.
