We're finishing up professional projects! I enjoyed this unit a lot, actually. I mostly enjoyed working with the GSA and getting everyone's input to make a truly unifying poster for our great cause as a community.
My final professional project was an app concept design with my group, Elizabeth and Haley. We created ArtFizz, which is a productivity app and database for artists. We decided to create ArtFizz because we all have had experience in art classes, and time management is a huge hassle.
**Personally, I get lost in drawing and I end up wasting a lot of time adding detail and forget that I have a life beyond an easel.
ArtFizz would provide a timer for any artist to be able to keep track on how much time they spend on one part of their piece, or help them dedicate time to each work equally. As for a database, there is a function where it connects the user to a resource page with tips, techniques, and information about the type of art they select (Painting, Portraits, Photography, etc.)
I was in charge of designing a simple Personal Information page for our app that would complement the home page design. I came up with much of the project, and to me, I don't feel as though this piece is my only contribution. I provided valuable assistance to my partners and our collaboration is what resulted in our cohesive pieces.
In addition to finishing this section, we are getting started to sketch for 20% projects. I have a good idea of what I want to do and I have a half sketch/idea of what I'd like to accomplish.
